It contains class activities, drills, standards for sucess in each technique, descriptions for performing the techniques, and safety techniques. I find this book extremely helpful for any one teaching a self-defense course. I refer to this book frequently. I am a law enforcement self defense instructor and a 1st degree black belt in judo.
