Fear No Evil - Eva Pierrakos.

Fear No Evil - Eva Pierrakos. The vast majority of present-day spiritual literature focuses on the essential goodness of human beings, on our ultimate God-self nature; and this is certainly a valuable message for our time. But what are we to make of our dark side? Where does it come from, why is it so intractable, how are we to deal with it?

Fear No Evil: The Pathwork Method of Transforming the Lower Self (Pathwork Series) by. .

This book deals with the exact nature of the spiritual path based on the material that Eva Pierrakos channeled a few decades ago. I have found all her channeled material to be profoundly insightful. It comes, it feels to me, from a genuine source of universal consciousness. For all those who work seriously on transforming their self I can recommend this book and all the books based on Eva Pierrakos's channeling. 4 people found this helpful.

Susan Thesenga takes us to the depths of our being with the Pathwork Lectures to connect with our Observer Self, face and transmute our Lower Self and ultimately to connect with our Higher Self. There are exercises at the end of each chapter that help make this journey deeply experiential.

I have also read "Creating Union" which is similar but focuses on relationships with others, lovers, friends, family, etc. I love the fact that there is no judgment in who we are. We are just human beings doing the best we can, and we will change when we are ready to change, and that's ok. We are always beautiful in God's, the Universe's eyes.

I've read, non-stop, books dealing with "awakening" for the past ten years. this one is the most essential for deep understanding and guidance on the process of finding out what that means. it is a workbook for discovering what our human consciousness is. it asks you to look at the workings of your "unconscious" both the negative and positive aspects held there. if you work with this book, with honesty and courage, you will become free of attachment to negative forces in yourself, and will open to the very deep and benevolent forces which make up your core. you will also come to appreciate the role the "ego" has in carrying out the choice to do this work. fascinating and totally uplifting!!

I have no idea how this book came into my life! One day I must have been on Amazon and somehow made an life-altering decision without knowing it, because I purchased this book! I neither recollect this event or think it was random - because this book is straight from the SOURCE! I have read mountains of books in my 35 year long life and NOTHING, I repeat: NOTHING (!) has ever been as straight forward or so profound! This book is "wisdom" concentrated in uber-form! Not for the weak and feeble-minded!

My opinion:
* You have to be already somewhat on your inner journey to comprehend the message and context.
* This is very deep and profound book and few can grasp it fully on the first read.
* Meditation on the "talks" is an integral part of gaining insight, thus meditation and introspection should be familiar prior to anyone who is serious.

* Message:
- Confirmed and validated my own insight and took me even deeper
- You can read 200 "self-help" books or just this one - same level of wisdom attained
- I had to come to terms how this knowledge was attained by the author (from "Guide" that channeled after author's years of meditation.) Even though it seems "New-Age-y", which I don't care for, since I long discarded "bubble-gum" for the mind, as I delved in it became clear that this information was so spot on and so profound, that who gives a darn how it came though. It is so concise and so well explained, I now understand that no human could ever "produce" it. Wisdom is wisdom, and Truth is truth, no matter who tells it to you.
- Even as I am still on my first read - Its message is already making a difference - You will get what you are ready for...

Main Points:
- No quick solution; no short-cuts; no beating around the bush about the work required
- Straight down, look you in the eye, no pink puffy cloud, no "fill-in-the-worksheet" to "Know-Thyself", HARD COLD TRUTH

If you are tired of your own pain - this book will tell you what you need to look at in yourself - mostly your own bull - in order to transform that which causes you pain. It ain't easy, and this is stated. I like that I am not told bulled that if I just tell myself "positive affirmations" each single day for x amount of whatever - I will be changed and happy... In sum, this book is for the one's that are ready, and is not a quick read - this is a book that you buy and keep and refer to for the rest of your life! Like a bible to the inner workings for the soul...

Thus, buy it, if you are ready to look at your own inner-self! The good, the bad, and the ugly!

I've worked with this book for about 20 years, and I find it one of the most profound and fundamental books that exists. I only bought it again for my Kindle to have it electronically.

This book contains a lifetime of work, and it takes some time to unravel. It deals with the layer of the personality pathwork calls the "idealized self" or perfect self, which we all create to solve the problem of our weaknesses when we're very young. Basically, we skip personal growth and instantly improve, so we're better, stronger, more moral, tougher, more resilient. But then this self, with standards we never can live up to, splits off and becomes an inner enemy that we can never live up to.

I always felt that their model of understanding made logical sense, but it has taken me about 15 years to start experiencing this layer to my psychology first-hand. It really is THE most fundamental problem that human beings face, and on the other side of it is genuine personal growth, genuine happiness and a very tender lack of self-criticism, and a self-compassion. But it's so deep in our wiring that it's not really possible to just sit down with this book, read it, and have a transformation.

20 years ago, this book fell off a bookshelf by accident, and I started reading it, and I was intrigued. I feel that I'm now in a place where the transformation that is discussed in the book is possible for me, because I can see how it works, and I've exhausted all other options.

I don't know how to recommend this book enough. It's in a completely different league than everything else that I've read. But it's a personal journey towards actual self-transformation, and it's work. But for people who want to truly become free and self-loving again, it's logically impossible to avoid this path. Whether you do it with pathwork or something else doesn't matter. But the idealized self is the fundamental issue that humanity deals with.

The material from the channelings of Eva Pierrakos comes from a very deep source. Psychologically it goes directly to the point and can thus help individuals gain greater clarity and insight into their own essential nature. With the repeated mass murders in the news these days, the question of evil is being raised once again. This book addresses the nature and source of evil and its relationship to the individual. All the Eva Pierrakos material I have read so far reaches a depth of understanding that very few other sources attain. I therefore recommend it to those who do serious work on self.
