Clemente, Roel’s grandfather said in his will, that in the event of his grandson failing to marry within a certain amount of time, Castello Sabatino, the family’s ancestral home, should go to the state instead of being giving to flesh and blood.

Roel was a workaholic, and was a love’em and leave’em kind of guy. He didn’t have time to marry. So he entered into a fake, on paper only marriage after his grandfather passed away. Hilary had always loved Roel. After meeting him, no guy would ever measure up to his good looks, and take charge personality.

Hilary was by his side as soon as she could get there, after she found our Roel had been in a car wreck. She had to pretend to be his real wife, because Roel had amnesia. Her emotions were going crazy, because being his real wife had always been her dream. She just didn’t want it to be like that. The two struggled with the relationship, but the love was there, and so was the chemistry. This book was good, but I’ve read so many with this same plot that I’m only rating it a 3. I did love the Italian words that Roel spoke within the story. There were a few that I had never seen before.

I actually liked this story. The heroine was feisty and stood up for herself. She wasn't insecure or too prideful. No unnecessary emotional drama. When she fell pregnant as they always do (for somehow in romance novels, nobody seems to know that sex leads to babies), the heroine told the hero about it and when he acted like a jerk, she eventually told him she would leave him and go her own way... which shook the hero up. The hero was a minor jerk. He carried the baggage of having grown up with abandoned mommy issues which he unfairly took out on the heroine. Yet he had passion for her inspite of trying to remain emotionally disconnected. The interaction between both characters was never boring. This was an enjoyable read

I find myself all over the place on how I overall feel about this book.
I was irritated and distracted by some one the editing. On one "page" 66% on my Kindle it had the guys name spelled 3 different ways: Raul, Roel and Role. Huh? How does that happen with this experienced author, and I assume experienced editor.
Besides that I vacillated between thinking Hilary was adorable and courageous and very, very immature. Roel was either you had to really read between the lines and think he really loves Hilary or that he is such a pompous jerk she needs to run the other direction.
Not my very favorite Lynne Graham book.

Italian-Swiss banker Roel Sabatino marries Hilary years earlier for convenience sake. Now he was in an accident and lost his memory and she has been sent for. She comes to help him but forgets to let him know their marriage was in name only. He finds out that she is a virgin. Now will their marriage become real? Or will he send her back to England. I enjoyed the story by Lynne Graham and others that she has written.

Little Devil
This could have been really good, but,, I just wasn't thrilled with it. The characters seemed to be all over the place, I didn't like how the H took no responsibility for his actions and blamed everything on the h. Additionally, the H was so cold and the HEA was so rushed, I just didn't believe he loved her........d:|

This was the last book in a three book series. I thought this story was the best of the three. The other two were good too.

I enjoyed this story and thought it worked well. I don't agree with the other reviewer that the h wasn't strong enough. She'd always loved the H and took the opportunity to spend time with him and knew it probably wouldn't last. I think the H was really awful prior to his accident but it was the catalyst for him and he started to realise stuff about himself and began to change. A good read.

I really loved the concept of this book. It's this push and pull between the characters throughout the whole book and the hero was so hot I couldn't blame her for going along with it!! The heroine didn't come off as fake and I really liked this one from Lynne Graham! If you're looking for something similar you should try Can't Let Go by AP Jensen!
