Specifically, Military Handguns of France by Eugene Medlin and Jean Huon. But I digress – today is about pistols: Medlin and Huon’s book is an excellent primer on an under-appreciated subject (I, for one, have a bit of a crush on the MAS 1935A and it’s Sig 210 look and feel).

Eugene Medlin (Author), Jean Huon (Author). It's titled "French Service Handguns 1858-2004". Done by the same authors, Medlin & Huon, they've corrected old mistakes and added new information from the years between when the 2 successive books were published. ISBN-13: 978-1880677025. At the time France required that production of French military weapons take place in France by a French company, and MAB was to be FN’s foot in the door.
