Edna Staebler, CM (January 15, 1906 – September 12, 2006) was a Canadian author and award-winning literary journalist, best known for her series of cookbooks.

I've cherished the time I've been lucky enough to spend at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity over the years, with each stay such a gift of space to think, read, dream, and write. This place is a national treasure; nay, a global one! So when they asked if I'd be game to be profiled by them, I said yes right away, not least because it meant the chance to return for some writing time in between a photo and video shoot.
