by Norman hartley

Norman Hartley is a tremendously talented writer! . I read this book when it first came out. Anybody who has read the histories of the business world from 1850 to 1950 will recognize that "The Viking Process" is history-major corporations acted much like pirates.

I read this book when it first came out. The many patent wars sucked fortunes dry. Out-right lies about rival corporations were the rule. Take a look at the Current Wars that determined AC electrical power would be the standard instead of DC electrical power. Rival newspapers literally hired thugs to beat up newsboys for selling the wrong newspapers.

I hope "The Viking Process" is fiction today--but given past behavior, that might be wishful thinking.
