Excellent, fast paced and very exciting. There is no doubt that James Hadley Chase is the master of story telling. No one can write a thriller like him and he is absolutely timeless. I could not put my Kindle down once I started.

Chase has authored many books - some are - candidly - boring. And some I have not been able to put down.
"We'll share a double funeral" is one such gripping narration.

While the summary of the plot is run of the mill (a couple held hostage by a dangerous fugitive), the details of the
characters (an amiable husband who is hoping against hope to save his marriage, an aging sheriff who is
fighting his aging frame to arrest the fugitive, a solicitous and loving wife who silently aids her husband) make this
a plot one could almost relate to.
