This is how the best keep getting better. Drop the social comparisons. Unless you are a professional promoter or marketer, focus on doing the work first. Good work generally gets realized - and when it does, it lasts
This is how the best keep getting better. You be you. You beat you. Worry about that and the rest will take care of itself. The best way to network is to do good work. Good work generally gets realized - and when it does, it lasts. Don’t mistake a love of talking about the work with a love of doing the work. Somewhat related to the above the point, there are these people who just love to talk about all the great work they’ll do and all the great work they’ve done (generally, it’s either not that much or not that great because these people are too busy talking to actually produce).
Stress is essential for survival; the chemicals it triggers help the body prepare to face danger and cope with difficulty. It can be essential to survival. The "fight-or-flight" mechanism can tell us when and how to respond to danger. However, if this mechanism is triggered too easily, or when there are too many stressors at one time, it can undermine a person's mental and physical health and become harmful.

William Wells Brown, the subject of this narrative, was born a slave in Lexington, Kentucky. In 1834 he escaped from a steamboat in Cincinnati and found shelter at a Quaker family. Mr. Brown's opportunities were good, and his sketches of persons and things are very lively. Many a graduate of our colleges would not make half so entertaining a volume. Read whenever, wherever. Your phone is always with you, so your books are too – even when you’re offline.
One of the best ways to cope with stress is to keep a sense of humor in difficult situations. If you feel depressed, yoga, swimming, bicycling, painting or gardening can help you relax, calm down and get a new lease on life
One of the best ways to cope with stress is to keep a sense of humor in difficult situations. Wise people say that laughter is the best medicine for all diseases. It increases blood flow and it may reduce the risk of heart disease. Besides, laughter makes the body release pleasure chemicals. If you feel depressed, yoga, swimming, bicycling, painting or gardening can help you relax, calm down and get a new lease on life. Anti-anxiety medications and anti-depressants can be useful for dealing with short periods of acute stress. But the side effects of such medications can be rather dangerous, that's why they must never be taken as often as vitamins.
Your stress hormones become less responsive, allowing you to better handle stress when it comes.
