Carl Bernard Gold was born on month day 1925, at birth place, Missouri, to Cecil Roscoe Gold and Vida Pearl Gold (born Young). Cecil was born on July 24 1894, in Goreville, Johnson C. Illinois. Vida was born on July 19 1895, in Earling, Shelby, Iowa, USA. Carl had 2 siblings: Dorothy Lorraine Paxton (born Gold) and one other sibling. Carl married Dorothy Jane Gold (born Capps) on month day 1946, at age 21 at marriage place, Missouri. Dorothy was born on July 9 1925, in Clinton, Clinton C. Iowa.
Golders Green Crematorium and Mausoleum was the first crematorium to be opened in London, and one of the oldest crematoria in Britain. The land for the crematorium was purchased in 1900, costing £6,000, and the crematorium was opened in 1902 by Sir Henry Thompson. Golders Green Crematorium, as it is usually called, is in Hoop Lane, off Finchley Road, Golders Green, London NW11, ten minutes' walk from Golders Green Underground station.
