by Brian Patten (Author), Arthur Robins (Illustrator). Brian Patten turns the typical family on its head with his delightful notion of exceedingly well-behaved children coping with extraordinarily badly behaved parents (think Saffy from Absolutely Fabulous coping with her mother Edina's wicked ways, but for much younger children!). The result is a pacy, funny little book, ideal for young readers who like to get to grips with a book that is not only enjoyable, but also brings environmental issues very much to the fore.

Brian Patten (born 7 February 1946) is an English poet Background Born . Patten’s style is generally lyrical and his subjects are primarily love and relationships.
