It's definitely a different set of Space Marine stories, but take a look at the cover and you understand why.

A mixed batch for me, but worth a read.

I really enjoyed these short stories... especially the last one. My only complaint is that some of the Astartes chapters in the books were difficult to place... I like to know what successor chapter I am reading about... whether they are break-aways from the Ultramarines, Blood Angels, what-have-you. Other than that the stories were fun to read... some of the better short stories in the 40K universe I have read.

Not Black Library 's best effort. The big Bad was boring and predictable. I like most of the Black Library products, but this is not worth the money. If you like the Imperial Fist it might be worth it. The short story dealing with the Fists is the best. The flying Dutchman aspect is lame. If you want to read about a voyage of dammed read the Legion of the Dammed.

One of the better works in the warhammer 40k battle book series. Horus heresy series and night lord series are far better, but this was okay.

A very entertaining group of shorts in a great wraparound package.

The stories move at a fast pace and are well written.

Each story is a takeoff on endless timeloops. well it goes on and on and gets tiresome without any resolution. I had to push myslef to finish the stories but the last one remains unfinished. I know this is not a good review but I can't bring myself to give it more effort.

A very good read, what do you expect from a warhammer book. Relentless action, a real page turner. I highly recommend buying this book. Buy it now
