This was a reference for one of my Bible classes, but I found it so helpful, after checking it out from the library, that I bought one for myself. I checked out this book with others on the same topic and Zuck seems to have pulled together many other sources in this book. This is a helpful book for teachers/preachers to sit at the feet of Jesus and expand their teaching methods tool bag!

Great research backing the work, but the writing is boring. Zuck does a great job to biblically back his conclusion, but the book is really more useful for it's biblical indexing than for the author's conclusions.

I bought this book to help me to teach more like Jesus. It is very helpful in showing Jesus' methods. Roy Zuck has researched well and tried to list every occurrence of certain aspects of Jesus method- like the number and type of parables. What stands out is the variety of ways Jesus teaches. He is not boring- often using highly visual imagery to get attention. Oh to speak like Him. I'd like to buy the another book by Zuck on How Paul preaches.
