I read the review from the previous reviewer that said that the DVD didn't play on any of his equipment, except for his laptop, and even then there was no sound. But I bought it anyway thinking that the DVD is basically just a bonus (and maybe I can get it to play, maybe I can't), and the book alone is probably worth the price. But once I recieved the book and DVD and I saw the listing of about a dozen clips that are alledgedly on the DVD, I really wanted to watch it. But no such luck. It won't play in any of my AV equipment, or on any of my computers at home or at work. So if you're thinking that you can probably get the DVD to play for you, good luck! If you really just want a nice Stones picture book (with some text thrown in) for your coffee table, then this package is for you.

Huge book loaded with large, rare photographs of the Stones. A definite must-have for any Stones fan or collector. I'm particularly fond of the shots of Anita Pallenberg and Mick Jagger by Cecil Beaton on the set of their 1968 film "Performance."
Just one very small complaint - Suki Potier is mistakenly identified as Anita Pallenberg in two photos with Brian Jones and George Harrison at Kinfauns. But that is a tiny complaint. Order this book for a Christmas gift or for yourself - it's worth every cent!

I like it.
Very good item for a Stones fan.

The DVD has no sound, just old bad quality movie cuts, but it is cool.

The only issue is that this book has hard cover and the corners have been a little bit damaged/smashed. They could out some hard protection os the corners of the book.

The book is okay, filled with a lot of pictures, but the DVD is about 3 minutes long and doesn't have any sound to it. I didn't realize this when I bought it. The DVD was very hard to see also.
